Warm tips:
- Only in the condition of large dynamic music and much bass effect the VU meter will work.
- When inserting the tubes please pay attention to the direction, the arrow on the tube should be aligned with the bulge on the tube socket.

I don't like at all the location on and off switch.
I really wanted to like this and have it be my long term solution.The size is great for a desktop, the sound is great, the build quality is excellent. They really did a good job with the fit and finish of the cabinet.My main problem is with the power button. It is situated on the backside, amongst all the wires and connectors. I like to turn my electronics off when I am not using them so they don't drain energy. With this unit, it was inconvenient to get to the button, and worse, the fiber optic cable comes out almost every time I fumble around on the back to turn it off.One minor gripe is that I love the little gauge on the front, but it only moves when you really have the sound cranked up. Using it for my desktop volume doesn't even move the needle.The design is a little polarizing. I like it, but my wife came in, took one look and said, "What, are you going for the mad scientist look now?"If you don't need to turn this off regularly, it is a great little amp!
