Q: What's the difference between the two versions of the VU360?
A: Please note: The VU360 is a visualizer, not a speaker, and does not play music. The yellow version supports 4 color families, each offering 5 adjustable color variations. The white version covers 7 color families with 2 to 3 color variations available for each.
Q: What kind of power supply should I prepare?
A: Please use a DC 5V power supply with at least 1A output. Higher voltage may cause damage, while insufficient current may affect performance.
Q: Can I track my sensitivity or gain adjustments?
A: Yes, the indicator lights can show your progress: The left light stays solid at the minimum value. As you increase the value, the lights light up sequentially. When all three lights are solid, it indicates the maximum level.
Q: Why do the left and right needles respond differently?
A: The inconsistency in the left and right needles is a normal phenomenon caused by differences in the stereo balance of different songs. It does not indicate a malfunction of the VU360.
Q: Why is the VU360 meter needle barely moving when connected to a turntable?
A: The turntable's output signal is typically too weak and requires amplification via a phono preamp. The VU360 is designed for standard line-level signals, such as those from CD players, computers, or phones.
