FAQs

Q: Can I use multiple headphone outputs at the same time?
A: The 6.35mm output has priority. When a 6.35mm plug or adapter is inserted, the 4.4mm and 4-pin XLR outputs are disabled. For best performance, we recommend using one headphone output at a time.

Q: How should I choose the gain setting?
A: Use Low Gain for sensitive or low-impedance headphones, Mid Gain for most daily listening, and High Gain for high-impedance or harder-to-drive headphones. Start low, then increase the gain if more volume or drive is needed.

Q: Can I replace the tubes?
A: Yes. H1 uses ECC83 tubes and supports compatible tube rolling with 12AX7, 7205, 6N4 and 5751 tubes. Always power off the H1 before replacing tubes, and confirm compatibility before trying other tube models.

Q: Can I replace the op-amps?
A: Yes. H1 uses two pluggable LME49720 op-amps and supports replacement with standard DIP-8 dual op-amps such as OPA2604, OPA2134 and MUSES02. Please power off the H1 before replacement and check chip orientation carefully.

Q: What power adapter should I use?
A: Please use the included DC 12V/2A power adapter. If using another adapter, choose a high-quality DC 12V adapter rated at 2A or higher. Do not use an adapter with excessive voltage.
