FAQs
Q: Can the VFD253 Pro be used as a mixer?
A: No. It does not provide independent volume control for each channel. It is more suitable as an audio switcher or splitter rather than a mixer.
Q: What signal does the spectrum display show?
A: The spectrum comes from the rear I/O port. In 1-in-4-out mode, it shows the source signal. In 4-in-1-out mode, it follows the selected input. If multiple inputs are selected, it may show combined signal, but this is not recommended.
Q: What is the difference between Real Display and Smooth Display?
A: Real Display follows signal changes more directly for a more accurate visual response. Smooth Display offers smoother, steadier movement for better viewing.
Q: Why does the display switch to clock mode when there is no audio signal?
A: This is normal. If no audio signal is detected for about 5 seconds, the display can switch to clock mode. This function can be turned on or off by remote control.
Q: How should I power the VFD253 Pro?
A: Please use the included 5V USB power adapter. Do not power it from the same device used as the audio source, as shared grounding may cause background noise or hum.
Q: Does the remote control include batteries?
A: No. Batteries are not included for safer and faster delivery. Please prepare compatible batteries separately before use.
Q: What power adapter should I use?
A: Please use the included DC 12V/2A power adapter. If using another adapter, make sure it is a high-quality DC 12V adapter rated at 1.5A or above.
