- Place the tachometer disc on the turntable of the record player and turn on your turntable.
- Turn on the strobe light, align the light to the tachometer disc , try to put it closer and about 5-10 CM is appropriate.
- Eyes staring at the corresponding 33.3/45 speed stripe on the tachometer disc.
If the stripes of the LED light must be stable and not moving, the rotation speed is correct;
If the stripes on the disc are moving slowly clockwise, the turntable is running fast;
If the stripes on the disc are moving slowly anticlockwise, the turntable is running slow. - If your turntable is adjustable, please adjust the rotation speed of the disc until the corresponding speed strip stops.
- If your turntable is not adjustable, first try a new drive belt. Drive belts can stretch over time causing minor speed variations. Great speed variations are more likely to be mechanical issues.
- After adjusting the speed, remove the tachometer disc and put your vinyl record on the record player to hear the most accurate music.
