Q: Is the XLR output true balanced?
A: Yes. EQ7 uses a dedicated circuit to convert the processed audio signal into a true balanced XLR output (with opposite-phase signals), helping to minimize noise and maintain signal integrity.
Q: Does the EQ7 support simultaneous RCA and XLR output?
A: Yes. Whether the input is RCA (unbalanced) or XLR (balanced), the signal is processed by the EQ and then output through both RCA and XLR at the same time. The two outputs cannot be switched independently.
Q: Does the EQ7 have a bypass function?
A: There is no dedicated bypass switch. However, setting all EQ controls to the center position (0 dB) achieves a near-bypass effect, with no gain or attenuation applied.
Q: What if the VU meter response is too strong or too weak?
A: Adjust the VU meter sensitivity and range controls on the rear panel. Fine-tune these settings while playing audio to achieve the desired display effect.
Q: What power supply should be used?
A: Please use the included power adapter. If using another adapter, make sure it is a high-quality 5V DC power supply. Do not use fast-charging adapters, as they may affect performance or cause damage to the EQ7.
