FAQS
Q: Which operating systems are supported by the Q1?
A: The Q1 is compatible with Windows 10/11, macOS, Android, and iOS. Dedicated Linux audio systems (like Daphile, Volumio, and ROON) are supported. To avoid potential compatibility issues, it is not recommended to use Windows 7/8, or general-purpose Linux systems.
Q: Which systems require driver installation?
A: No drivers are required for mobile devices, macOS, or Linux. For Windows systems, driver installation depends on the USB driver mode: UAC 1.0 mode does not require a driver, while UAC 2.0 mode requires driver installation.
Q: Can I replace the op-amps in the Q1?
A: Yes, the Q1 uses 4PCS pluggable LM49720 op-amps, which can be replaced by normal dual op-amps like 2604/2134/muses02 etc. Before replacing, please turn off the power, ensure correct orientation, and power on only after confirming proper installation.
Q: Why don't the single VU meter and spectrum display work properly?
A: In dual VU meter mode, both meters show the audio levels for the left and right channels separately. In single VU meter and spectrum modes, the Q1 only detects the left channel input. If only the right channel is connected, the VU meter and spectrum display will not operate.
Q: Why Bluetooth cannot be searched?
A: Short press the encoder knob to enter the menu and select the Bluetooth input mode, or press the “SELECT” button on the remote control to switch to Bluetooth input mode. Then, turn on Bluetooth on your phone, search for “AMPAPA Q1,” select it to connect, and start playing music.
Q: Can I clear the Bluetooth pairing through knobs on the Q1?
A: No. Bluetooth pairing can only be cleared using the remote control.
